Page 78 of 83 Endeavor Business Media | BIG BOOK SPRING 2019 B19 Dahua Under Vehicle Surveillance System Vehicle inspection in high-security environments has traditionally been limited to the use of mirrors and police dogs, where blind spots and human error put detection at risk. To combat this problem, Dahua Technology offers two models of its Under Vehicle Surveillance System (UVSS). The large field of view (approximately 180°) of the UVSS can capture the entire undercarriage of a vehicle when it is driving through, which it then generates into an image in less than one second for scrutiny. A portable version (DH-MV-VDM5021E-00) and an in-ground version are available. Both options are ideal for airports, prisons and border control. Request more information: TRENDnet’s Gigabit PoE+ Smart Surveillance Switches TRENDnet has unveiled a line of Gigabit PoE+ Smart Surveillance Switches designed for use with IP cameras and surveillance networks. The Smart Surveillance Switches are managed switches that enable camera management features to be easily accessible from within the switch’s interface. The 12-port and 18-port models of the Gigabit PoE+ Smart Surveillance Switches (TPE-3012LS and TPE-3018LS) are ONVIF compliant. If communication fails to a camera, the ONVIF compliant switches will auto-reboot the switch and/or the PoE port to reduce downtime. The ONVIF PoE switches feature LED displays showing total PoE power, available power, and power-per-port. They also support long distance PoE+ networking up to 656 ft./200m away. Request more information: Tamron M117VG3817IR Vari-Focal Lens The need for high-fidelity surveillance in 4K/8 megapixel resolution is growing in the surveillance camera market. In addition to high-fidelity, high-sensitivity is also a mandatory feature in a lens. In response, Tamron has released a 4K/8 megapixel resolution 1/1.7” 3.8-17mm F/1.4 Standard Vari-Focal Lens (Model:M117VG3817IR) that delivers outstanding high-fidelity images over the entire visual and near-IR bandwidth spectrum. An aspherical lens element, special LD (Low Dispersion) Glass Material, and an XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) lens element combined with state-of-the-art optics design technology ensures image fidelity compatible with 4K/8 megapixel and 5 megapixel cameras. The F/1.4 wide aperture renders high sensitivity that enables night-time surveillance in 8 megapixel resolution. Request more information: KBC Mobile Surveillance Systems KBC Networks’ Mobile Surveillance Systems (MSS) are custom-built solutions for temporary site monitoring in applications requiring video, audio and data security. The systems are compact, rugged, self-contained and easy to deploy and set up. They consist of a base unit with onboard solar panel(s), charge controller and batteries (purchased separately) along with power and network connections for NVR, camera(s) and sensors. A removable quick-connect pod provides a mounting platform for camera(s) and wireless systems. A removable electronics tray offers easy access to the charge controller and other selected electronics. The systems can be linked together in perimeter, star and linear configurations. Request more information: Hanwha Wisenet 5MP Multi-Directional Camera The Wisenet PNM-9000VD (2-head) multi-sensor camera from Hanwha Techwin America delivers 5MP image quality and modular lens configuration at an affordable price. The camera supports 30fps image capture and true 120 dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) without compromising frame rate for each of its 5MP sensors. For maximum adaptability, configurable factory focused lens/CMOS sensor modules are available in 3.7, 4.6 and 7mm for multiple fields of view which can be easily installed on site. Hallway view aspect ratios are also supported for monitoring of vertical shaped areas. Each sensor has its own Wisenet 5 chip providing a full suite of built-in video analytics. Request more information: Speco Ultra Intensifier Cameras Speco Technologies’ exclusive Ultra Intensifier is the next generation of the award-winning Intensifier technology that captures color video in ultra-low light, eliminating the need for IR LEDs and monochrome video when there is a slight amount of ambient light. For the Ultra Intensifier, the combination of the latest sensor technology, a large aperture lens, and special image processing enables the cameras to capture incredibly vivid color images without image ghosting and noise. The cameras were honored at ISC with a SIA New Product Showcase award in the IP video surveillance category. Request more information: The SELECT few always refuse to compromise.
