SECURITY DISTRIBUTORS ALLIANCE: Tri-Ed, North America's largest independent security distributor, and Aditya Infotech Ltd. (AIL), India's top Security & Safety Products Distribution house, has formed the International Alliance of Independent Security Distributors. AT&T; HITS DIGITAL LIFE GOAL OF 50-PLUS MARKETS: AT&T; announced in late October it will launch Digital Life in seven new markets: Birmingham, Las Vegas, Louisville, Nashville, Raleigh, Richmond and Tucson. These new markets have pushed the company past its goal of 50 markets by the end of 2013, as the service will be available in 52 total markets. With Digital Life, customers can use their existing home broadband provider, and any wireless phone service, for a home security and management system. SCANSOURCE ANNOUNCES NEW RESELLER PROGRAM: ScanSource Inc. has announced a program to help enhance communications and integration between the company and its reseller partners, called All-Access ScanSource. Through this program, resellers have access to ScanSource's XML Application Programming Interface (APIs) that streamline the requisition-through-deployment process.   ASSA ABLOY, BOSCH UPDATE LENEL FACTORY CERTIFICATION: ASSA ABLOY has successfully updated the Lenel factory certification for the interface of its IP-enabled locks with the Lenel OnGuard 2012 (version 6.5.624) and 2013 (version 6.6.287) platforms. Bosch Security Systems has also received Lenel factory certification for the integration of its IP cameras with OnGuard, as well as with the Lenel Network Video Recorder 7.0. ATI COMPLETES MERGER WITH TTG ENGINEERS: Houston-based Advanced Technologies Inc. (ATI) has merged with TTG Engineers of Pasadena, Calif., with Texas offices in Dallas, Austin and San Antonio.
